Hi I'm Mallory

I am a college graduate. I am a wife and a mother. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated college with a degree in Mathematics Education. I choose teaching because I love that moment when you help someone understand something they didn't get before. While I was in school I met my wonderful husband and we now have two children. As much as I loved teaching, I love staying home with my two children even more. Staying home with my children is one of the most challenging and rewarding things I have ever done. I love to be active and to try new things. Since I currently live in the DC area, my favorite hobby is visiting all of the tourists spots with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and I originally followed the faith of my parents. However as I got older I began to develop a testimony for myself. I think my first experiences were in high school when my friends started to challenge my beliefs. They asked me many questions to which I at the time had no answers. In response to their questions I started to search the scriptures. As I searched the scriptures I found answers and started to develop my own testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

One way I live my faith, is by serving in the nursery on Sundays. Each Sunday parents bring their children, ages 18months-3years, to the nursery class. I teach the little children about Jesus, play games with them, and feed them a snack. By providing a nurturing environment for the children, I allow their parents to be able to enjoy Sunday School and learn of Christ.
