Hi I'm Buddy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three wonderful children, 2 boys and a girl. I am married to an amazing wife. I am love to learn and teach. I am an engineer by training, a scientist by heart, and a Sales Manager by vocation. I don't separate science, family, religion, politics, and work. They are all apart of my life and affect each other.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon or more precisely, I am a Christian, a desciple of Jesus Christ because this is the restored gospel in its fullness as was intended by Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I have studied other religions and none other brings you closer to the Gospel of the New and Old Testaments as does the restored Church does. It brings out the best in you--"Making bad men, good..and good men, great". I love my church and it is just...wonderful!

How I live my faith

My faith is who I am. Someone once said that you if you coul have perfect faith you would live a perfect live. Putting what you BELIEVE into ACTION is the definition of faith. While I am far from having perfect faith, I am trying to be better each and every day, my eternal quest for perfection. While I know I will ever fall short of the goal, I also know if I keep trying to do my best that, I can recieve eternal perfection in the hereafter through the grace of our Heavenly Father and the atonement of Jesus Christ. I try to be honest to myself, others and to God. I try to treat everyone else as my dearest brothers and sisters. And most importantly, I try to teach my children to do the same.

Are Mormons Christians?

Of course Mormons are Christians. The name of Church is the Church of Jesus Christ (with additional description "of Latter-Day Saints" which distinguishes it from the time period of Jesus Christ). I believe that Jesus is my Savior and that he is the Son of God and only by and through him are we saved in the Kingdom of Heaven. We believe that we must be baptized after the same manner as our Lord and that all we do and pray is done through his priesthood. We talk of Jesus, we preach of Jesus, we write of Jesus, and we bear this testimony..."That He Lives". Show more Show less
