Hi I'm Joe

I have been a Mormon all of my life. I was 20 years old before I realized the great value of being a Mormon.

About Me

I love to go water sking and snow sking. I have 4 living children and 3 grandchildren. I worked in private business for 31 years in foodservice.

Why I am a Mormon

As I look at all of the challenges that we as a people face I have not found anything that offers more support, direction, and counsel to people in how to deal with life's many challenges than the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. What ever I face I can found the answer of help in dealing with the challenge from the doctrine and teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Early in our marriage we lost one of our children to Cystic Fibrosis. The knowlege of eternal families is all that got me through that time and provides the hope for the future.

How I live my faith

I think the very best way to live ones faith is to help others. Whether it is coaching a little league team, being involved in a service project for an elderly neighbor, or teaching a lesson on Sunday there are always a wide variety of opportunites to help others and lighten their loads.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Joe
When our little daughter Jennifer passed away when she was three months old, the belief that families can be together forever took on a new and real important meaning to me. Since that time I have come to know that yes, families can be together forever and what a great peace that brings to me. It just fits as a part of a loving Heavenly Fathers plan for families to be together forever. Show more Show less
