Hi I'm Katrina,

I'm an English Rose living in the USA. I love to teach, I love to learn, I love Jesus Christ, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a loyal, faithful person who loves life! I joined the church in 2009 in England, and then after serving an 18month mission in the England London South Mission, I came to BYU-Idaho to study. I fell in love with an American Cowboy from Montana and we recently got married. I am an aspiring Marriage and Family therapist.

Why I am a Mormon

Everyone at a point in their life will come to ask ... why are we on the earth? What's it all about. As I pondered these very questions a knock came on the door. The Lord knows each and everyone of us and what we need when. At 23, I was prepared to accept the Gospel and teachings of Christ. The first time that I went to church I felt that I had walked home. Everyone seemed fimilar to me and I knew not why. Very soon after, I was baptised and joined the Church because I recieved a witness from the power of the Spirit that one... The Book of Mormon is true, and two... that Heavenly Father had indeed restored His Gospel through living prophets. The Bible teaches us that God is a God of order and He has repeatedly called prophets and given them His Priesthood. It makes perfect sense to me that this pattern would continue in our day. The Book of Mormon is a witness that has happened in our day. Because my life changed for the better and I experienced joy beyound understanding, I decided to serve a mission. I know that Jesus is the Savior and that faith in Him will bring peace in this world and eternal life in the world to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. Three priciples of the Gospel that keep me strong are ... 1: Church worship 2: Daily prayer and 3: Daily scripture study. As I study each day, I draw closer to the Savior and get to know Him. The power of prayer in my life has brought an added measure of the Spirit in my life and Church is the best way to leave the troubles of the week behind and refill for the week ahead. Church for me is the most important part of the week, because this is the time to renew my commitment to follow the Savior. (By taking the Sacament) I love having the opportunity to serve, to teach, and to love others
