Hi I'm Chuck

I am a software engineer. I speak English and Spanish. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 3 boys. I enjoy hiking/backpacking, camping, fishing, computers, and music. I enjoy seeing the beauty of nature. I like watching movies projected onto the wall outside on the back patio with my family. I have been married to my sweetheart since 1992.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a very close and personal relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. I have received a personal witness this this is the path I should take in my life. The values that I have learned as a member of this church are invaluable in my life. I find the teachings of the Gospel to be the same as those taught by the Savior as found in the New Testament.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. I try to read my scriptures and pray every day. Being an ALL volunteer church, I serve where ever I am asked. I have helped serve by teaching the Gospel on Sundays to both the youth and the adults. I have also served a mission to the country of Mexico.

What is being a Mormon like?

It's like being a member of any church really. The main differences is the self mastery. Heavenly Father has given certain commandments he has asked his children to live by. As members of the Mormon Church, we are asked to be obedient to God. The other difference is that this is the Church of Jesus Christ. It is that same church He established in ancient times. It has the same authority to act in his name. This authority is known as the priesthood. Show more Show less
