Hi I'm Sherry Pribble

I live in western Colorado. I am a Christian and that's why I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in small towns. My father was a truck driver and uranium miner. My mother was a stay at home mom - homemaker. I grew up enjoying the outdoors. Camping, hiking, riding motorcycles, swimming in the river, fishing and hunting are a big part of who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am a Christian! My family was not religious in anyway and we were not taught gospel principles, but I have always believed in God, even when I did not know who God was. I married young and attended a non-denominational church with my husband and his family. I learned about Jesus Christ's role in our salvation, yet most of what they taught did not ring true to me. One day I opened my door to missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ (my savior!) of Latter Day Saints. After some initial doubt, I decided to listen and pray about the gospel they were presenting to us. It made sense, every step of the way and once I began reading the Book of Mormon I knew it was true and asked God to confirm it to me. At my baptismal interview... I felt a strong witness of the spirit such as I had never felt... that I was indeed taking the right step to draw nearer to God and his Son, my savior Jesus.

How I live my faith

I try to treat all of God's children with love and respect. When I fall short of that goal, I repent and try again. I teach 4 -7 yr old children in primary and am a visiting teacher, I love both callings.
