Hi I'm Breanna

I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I am a spontaneous yet organized person who loves to dance, laugh, sing and be with my family. I am married to my best friend, we were sealed in the temple, and are grateful for this decision every day. My life is never dull, I am always working and keeping busy with life :). I love education and am grateful for the opportunity to learn. I am a CMA, I love working in medicine and helping people feel better about themselves! I currently work in Advanced Internal Medicine and love it! I love working with older patients they have so much to share and have such fun personalities! I love taking pictures, spending time with my husband and playing with our puppy. I love cooking, it is one of my most favorite things to do, as well as to bake. I love cooking/baking new recipes and making them my own. I love to read, my three favorite books are, The Alchemist, The Peacegiver, and childhood book Ella Enchanted. I served a mission for the Lord, it was one of the hardest YET the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to serve the Lord. I love life and am grateful for the blessings my family receives daily.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a part member family. One of my parents is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and my other parent is a member of the Catholic faith. I studied other religions, went to other churches with my friends and studied and prayed about each faith. I read the Book of Mormon and studied the beliefs, and LIVED the beliefs and practices of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I knew if I was going to receive an answer I had to study it out every which way possible, I had to put it to the test. I knew I needed to pray about Joseph Smith being a prophet of God, I needed to pray about the Book of Mormon and so that is just what I did. I prayed. I wanted to know for MYSELF if it was TRUE. I took Moroni's challenge at the end of the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. The answer I received by and through the Holy Ghost was and is that it is indeed the true church. The same church that Christ established when he was on the earth. For the reasons above and others I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday :) I strive to be better each day, I pray every day, I read my the Bible, and The Book of Mormon each day. I try to share my faith with others as well, as it is what brings me the most happiness in my life. It is my rock when the winds of life blow and try to knock me down. I also serve in the church, aside from serving a mission, I have served in various positions. Currently I serve the young women ages 12-17, which I find to be very rewarding. I love to hear their point of view and what they learn from the scriptures because it helps to strengthen my testimony. :) I also try to attend the temple each month :) I just strive every day to be a little better, and to always be an example of what we as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believe.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Breanna
I attribute the growth of the church to the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the desire it brings to share. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we desire to share with others what brings us the most happiness in our lives, and so we share, we open our mouths to share our joy. We are an example to others in the way we act, dress, and carry ourselves in daily life, and this brings a question to those around us. I think of experiences in my own life when tragic things were happening, or in the lives of my family members and friends and co-workers would ask how we were still so happy and put together. The gospel truths bring joy and happiness, stability, and a peace that nothing else brings. The gospel of Jesus Christ answers questions of the soul, and gives direction in the lives of millions around the world. These answers and the peace the gospel brings are the reasons that the gospel is growing. People all around the world want to find out for themselves about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We innately want to share with others what brings us the most joy, and that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
