Hi I'm Pablo O. Puyol

There is a loving God watching over us. He will teach us and dry our tears if we trust in Him.

About Me

I live in Uruguay and I'm working for a global travel distribution system as Instructor. I'm married to a wonderful woman that inspires me to be a better man everyday and have a 3 year-old child. I enjoy serving in the Church, sharing time and activities with my family, listening to uplifting music and writing in my journal. I have a degree in HR and I'm preparing the CTA (Certified Travel Associate exam) for nexy year.

Why I am a Mormon

Never was in my thoughts to be part of a "religion". I thought I was not looking for that. I realized I was actually looking to know the truth, and understand what my purpose of me being on this earth was, but not just to "know" it, but to live according to that knowledge and let it change my life. And I found it, I testify that I did. God our loving Father in heaven and His resurrected Son reached their hands, as it was promised, to restore the true Church and Gospel in these latter days to prepare the earth for the second coming of the Savior. I was baptized in 2002 and left to serve a mission in Colombia in 2003. Many sacred and beautiful experiences have confirmed and strengthen my certain knowledge that this work is true since then. In my deepest sorrows and my most significant joys, I have seen the hand of my Savior embracing me in love, and I know that anyone willing to obey God and follow His ways can have the light and the assurance of His love and His truth.

How I live my faith

My faith is my life. Prayer, scripture pondering, fasting, making efforts to be more Christlike are all things that happen everyday of our lives, not just on Sundays. I have the privilege to serve as a ward (congregation) clerk for the third time. I can tell that I will never stop learning of the importance of this sacred duty of being a support to the members and the leaders in all administrative matters. Even though it may seem like a temporary task, it has taught me that the house of the Lord is a house of order and that temporal aspects of our lives reflect the reverence and devotion we have for spiritual truths and covenants. I'm thankful for the great talents and experience the Lord has helped me to develop through this assignment.
