Hi I'm Chris

I am an RM that was born in Arizona. I have lived in Utah. I went to France. I now live in Idaho

About Me

I am a fairly normal person. I say fairly normal because I am the only left-handed person in my family and that makes me unique. I played the Alto Sax in grade school. Then transitioned to the French Horn in Middle school. and through High School. I can sort of play the piano. I have taught myself how to read the bass clef. I currently own a trumpet and french horn. I took one year of French in High School and 1 term in college before I went to France and 1 term after I came back. I want to get a degree of some sort. Right now my interests and vocation lies in the IT industry. I am a certified technician. It was almost a fluke how that came about but it has given me useful and useable skills and even opened a new career path if I so choose.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon partly because I don't know anything else, having been brought into it at age 1. Now I am a Mormon by choice. This will not keep me from being a friend to those that are not Mormon. Most of the people that I associate with on a daily basis are not Mormon and they seem to like me well enough. I went on my mission to the France Bordeaux Mission. I enjoyed it very much. I think that I was there for 2 special reasons and they are now my friends and also members of the Church. I have learned more about the Lord's plan of Happiness since then. Some of the most interesting things I have learned from going to the Temple and meditating on the lessons taught there.

How I live my faith

I try to do my Home teaching as often as I can. I try to take part in the activities that are provided for my church group.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

This was a question that I was asked quite often in France and of course I always answered like this: While we do hold Joseph Smith in high regard for what he accomplished; we reserve worship for God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
