Hi I'm Sharon

I'm a wife and a mother of two wonderful kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Sharon and I live in southern Arizona. I have lived in the desert my entire life and I love it! I have a great husband and two kids. In my spare time I love to be outside, garden, and sew.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in loving home where my parents and siblings embraced the gospel. It was there that I gained a testimony of own about the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Now that I have two kids of my own I am so thankful that I can share my testimony with them and help them to come to know their Savior, Jesus Christ. Everything about the church is centered around the family and I love that because I know that my family is the most important thing in my life.

How I live my faith

Every week I work with children ages 3 years to 12 years old in our church. Myself along with others teach lessons about Jesus, commandments, prophets and other church topics to the children. I love the spirit that I feel when I teach the children and when I know that they are learning important principles of the gospel. It is amazing to hear the things that the children know already and learn from the lessons that they hear.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Sharon
We believe that baptism is necessary to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again, so we baptize children when they are 8 years old and if a person joins the church later in life they get baptized as well to fulfill that ordinance. Show more Show less
