Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a college student, a sports fanatic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Arizona. I'm currently a pre-med biochemistry major at a local major university. School is my life right now, but I have always had a passion for sports. I grew up playing many different sports, but in my four years of high school I played football and lacrosse. In my free time I love to listen to music, go running, play guitar, wakeboard, and hang out with my friends. Although I grew up in Arizona, I recently spent two years in Toronto, Canada as a missionary for my church. It was the most amazing experience of my life being able to share the teachings of the gospel and God's plan for our families with such a diverse group of people. I love my family. They have always supported me in everything that I do. I have two older sisters, a younger brother, two of the coolest brother in laws, and the cutest niece in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the LDS church. My parents were amazing examples of how to live the gospel, and they always made sure that I was there at church every Sunday. Even though I was always active in the church, I feel that my own personal conversion did not come until I was just out of high school. I wanted to know if the things that I was being taught throughout my life were indeed true. I read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover when I was 18, and as I read it I had a personal confirmation that it truly was the word of God. I continue to read it daily and am blessed with strength and answers to prayers as I do so. So why am I a Mormon? Simply because I choose to be. I know that by living the teachings in the scriptures, serving others, and following the Lord's prophets on the earth today, true happiness can be achieved

How I live my faith

I am currently attending a ward with other young single adults. Going to church every week is something that I honestly look forward to, not just because of the friends that I've made in the church but more importantly because attending church helps me to strengthen my relationship with God and Jesus Christ. I love the church. I can't imagine where my life would be without it.
