Hi I'm Diana

Joining the church changed my life, gave me the knowledge that my life has a purpose! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 5 kids, self-employed as a licensed childcare provider. I love the outdoors, especially on a warm sunny day. In my spare time, I love to read and do crafts and learn about new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Catholic, even attended Catholic school. I had many questions as a child and felt there had to be more. As an adult a series of events led me to find the LDS church. I was thrilled that 2 Missionaries eagerly answered all my questions. I now had the right answers, I knew beyond a shadow of doubt my questions now had answers! The missionaries told me of the restored gospel through Joseph Smith and I prayed that Heavenly Father would let me know if this was true.... my prayer was answered and I received a confirmation that I will never forget. I have a testimony of this and it has changed my entire life. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of us, He hears ours prayers. He wants us to be happy and make that journey back to live with Him again. Life changes when you know that you have a purpose, that God has a plan for you. The gospel has been a light in my life.

How I live my faith

Serving in the church has meant the world to me! I have grown through serving in many ways. I have worked with the youth of the church and loved every minute of it, my heart has grown to love the youth of today in ways I never imagined. What an opportunity it is to help and learn from youth. I learned to grow from teaching them, they also taught me as we learned together. I currently help serve in a woman's organization as I learn to grow in another area. I'm so grateful for the opportunities that I have had to serve in the church. I have changed from a quiet child that never raised her hand in school to a more confident and out going adult.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

I learned to increase my faith in Jesus Christ by learning about Him through scripture reading and by prayer. Faith is a very important principle to learn about, and to exercise in learning about the gospel. We grow as time goes on and by attending church. Through church, I have gained a stronger testimony of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father's love for us. Show more Show less

How is the Book of Mormon different from the Bible? How did Joseph Smith obtain the “golden plates” or Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is different form the Old and New Testaments because it is a history of those that lived in the ancient America's and goes hand in hand with other scripture. I gained a deeper understanding of the scriptures when I began to read the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

A Mormon to me is one who lives their religion everyday of their life- not just a Sunday religion. Mormon's believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost as 3 separate individuals. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he lived and died so that we might live again with our Father in Heaven. Show more Show less
