Hi I'm Matt Briggs

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a working man. I do online marketing. I love to learn. If it's interesting or informative I'd love to read it. I love to experience life with my wife and my daughter. We love to play, experience, and enjoy life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I feel it is true. I believe it teaches correct principles. I enjoy the Church's teachings, I enjoy studying it's history, I like to ponder and think of things that are greater than me--most especially I like to try and better understand my creator and my God. I believe all truth can come together to create one great whole and love to learn about the bigger plan through all areas of study. I also like the way I feel at Church, how I feel when I partake of the sacrament, and when I attend the Temple.

How I live my faith

I grew up going to Church and continue to do so with my new family. We have a little baby girl and we enjoy taking her to Church with us as well. My wife and I enjoy serving in the Church for it provides us opportunities to meet people, to help others, and it also allows us with a network of people of whom we can receive help from.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Matt Briggs
We believe that for a man or women to enter in God's presence they must be baptized. Thus providing an opportunity for all to enter into God's presence a way for them to be baptize (if they didn't have a chance on earth) must be provided. These baptisms can be performed in Temples.
