Hi I'm Rustin

I'm a father, a husband, an entrepreneur, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and a father. I love baseball and enjoy watching most sports. Although its been years since I played I occasionally get out on the softball field. I'm also an entrepreneur and have been a part of building several successful business. I find myself happiest when I'm helping others.

Why I am a Mormon

One word... "happiness." Everything I've ever been taught from my membership in this church has made me happy. My best example is my relationship with my wife. On occasion we've been separated by distance or circumstance like a business trip or such and I've found myself thinking that perhaps something would happen to her while I was gone and I'd lose her. At those times I get a glimps of the pain I would feel at losing her and gratefully I remember the teaching of the church that those who are married by the proper authority in the proper place (a Temple) will be together with their families even after death. It gives me peace and makes me even happier knowing I get her for this life and forever after!

How I live my faith

Weekly we get to meet together as members to worship, sign, pray, and teach one another. I love going there to hear other members share how God has blessed them that week. I (like most members) also have an assignment to serve others. I've been asked to be the employment specialist and it's been really fulfilling helping others who are looking for work know the best practices for finding a job. I also help network people so that if someone knows of a job another might need they can get that info. My Family and I also follow the council of the church leaders to have a weekly "family night" where my family will get together and talk about heavenly things and often do some fun activity together. It's very fulfilling and often super fun.
