Hi I'm Joey Lindsay

I grew up in Boise, Idaho and I am an aspiring filmmaker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am studying communications with an emphasis in video production at BYU-Idaho. I love the aspect of telling stories through video and film. When others see my work I love them to be see something they would not normally see. I currently work on a international television program through BYUTV called Latter-Day Profiles. I have also done video work for clients in Idaho and Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church since birth but there comes a time when you grow up where you can't rely on your parents any more. So I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about whether it is the word of God, although the answer didn't come to me all at once but when it did come I realized that I have had a witness from God our Heavenly Father through the holy ghost that I knew it was true. No I didn't have angels speak to me or some other miraculous event but what I did feel was peace and a knowledge that what I read was true. It is hard to describe how it feels but the spirit can bring feelings of peace and joy. It just feels good and you don't want the feeling to leave. I have had many experiences like these and others where I have felt the spirit even more strongly. These experiences testify to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Jesus Christ's church and that we have a modern prophet on the earth today. It was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith back on to the earth again. Heavenly Father does loves us and knows us by name and cares about every single aspect of our lives.

How I live my faith

Currently I am a teacher for my church and I teach Sunday School.
