Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a wife, a mom who homeschools my four daughters, an athlete, a world traveler and a believer that laughing overcomes much!

About Me

I love being a wife to my rock star husband! There's no place I rather be than wrapped in his arms! But our hands are often full with him running his own law practice and me homeschooling our 4 seriously beautiful , yet crazy girls. I am an avid runner and fitness instructor. I'm always trying to find an excuse to have fun with friends and their families. We recently lived in Germany and I was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of traveling the world. We visited over 25 countries while we lived in Europe. I thrive off meeting new people and discovering how God has influenced their lives and how they came to be the people they are.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has taught me that God speaks to His children today just as He did anciently. I know through the confirmation of the Spirit that Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ in response to a question he asked through prayer. I, too, have sought the guidance of my Heavenly Father through prayer countless times to guide me through my life. I have felt a powerful witness come to me through a still small voice, a warmth in my heart, a peaceful feeling, through dreams and other means by which the Lord has answered my pleas for help. I have felt an all encompassing spiritual feeling overcome me as I have heard The Prophet speak and the Spirit whisper to me that He was indeed the Lord's mouth piece for the people on the earth today. I have attended the Temple's of our church and have had undeniable spiritual experiences with my dead ancestors who have thanked me for performing their saving ordinances and allowed them to further progress on the other side of the veil. These experiences and many others are what ties me to God and specifically to the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am so thankful for it's influence in my life!

How I live my faith

Not only do I go to church weekly but on a daily bases I find ways to serve other women/families in my area by making their burdens lighter by helping in anyway I can. Ultimately I hope to help them grow closer to Christ and in return as I serve them, my understanding of how God loves His children comes into better view. I then feel His love more easily for myself.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Rebecca
Yes!! This is one of the greatest promises and blessings of being married in a mormon temple. Families are God's creation and He wants us to continue on in the next life as such. He wouldn't create such a wonderful thing and then un-unite us. Of course Heavenly Father would provide a way for us to be together forever. I love my husband too much and heaven would not be happy for me if my husband couldn't be there with me. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Rebecca
No, we move every 2-3 years b/c of my husbands job and I always seek out non-mormon friends. We all need friends to help us get through the trials of this life and to celebrate the happy times too. Show more Show less
