Hi I'm Leif

After raising our kids in Boston, Utah and Dallas we are off to Africa (Zambia and Malawi) for the next 3 years to be missionaries

About Me

We're originally from Utah but have lived in New England for 17 years and Dallas, TX for 4 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this Church because I feel loved and supported here. I have a life filled with opportunities to serve others and worship with people of courage and faith in the Savior, Jesus Christ

How I live my faith

My commitment to my faith has grown over the years. At many critical moments in my life, my faith has been rewarded with greater insight into the Lord's work and His love for me and my family.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

No, however, young worthy men are encouraged to serve missions and young women also have equal opportunities to serve. They submit themselves to a process of applying that could send them anywhere in the world without any indication before hand of where they may be asked to serve. This, usually after years of preparing themselves by studying the Gospel, saving money, and serving locally. These are just ordinary young men and young women with a rather extraordinary sense of courage, faith, determination, humility and desire to serve and bless others. Older singles and couples also serve throughout the world. Show more Show less
