Hi I'm Celestine

I'm a free spirit, dominate at chess and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Nigeria, but currently live in the United States. I play chess and love the field of Medicine.

Why I am a Mormon

The restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is the recipe for our salvation. It is a real system of principles that work together to bring us eternal joy and life. I am Mormon, because the gospel of Jesus Christ in it's pure form can only be found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith be trying to personify the scripture's admonition to let my light so shine before men, that they may see my good works and glorify my Father in Heaven

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is a library of books that was written by different authors. These men were ancient Prophets that dwelt in the ancient Americas. They wrote of their testimonies of God and His Son Jesus Christ, and of His dealings with mankind. This record was handed down from generation to generation across a line of prophets and kings. It was eventually buried in a hill and protected with a promise from God, that it will come forth at a latter-day to testify of Christ. Joseph Smith in the latter-days was eventually guided to find that ancient record, and was empowered to translate it into the english language. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

This topic is one of great controversy in christendom, majorly because the principle of grace had been subjected to diverse definitions at to destroy an unerring statement of it's true meaning. We basically believe that we are saved by the grace of god, after all we can do. This means that none of our works and good deeds here on earth could possibly save us independent of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The salvation that comes from the Savior's sacrifice is His to give. He has however predicated that blessing on our unalloyed allegiance to him. This allegiance is proven as we keep his commandments. It should however be understood that without the grace of Jesus Christ, the very works we do are filthy rags in the prescence of God. You see, Jesus Christ is at the center of it all. Without his grace, we would not know how to please him. If ye love me, keep my commandments. Show more Show less
