Hi I'm Hannah

I make myself laugh. I'm a budding artist. I know how to live on a dime. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently in my 2nd year of college, studying graphic design. Art is something that brings me joy and allows me to share that joy with others. I've been raised by a wonderful mother who has filled both roles of parenthood and has taught me to be independent and able to function in the midst of every sort of trial; and everything from how to fix a toilet to how to sew a prom dress. During a brief stint of homelessness I learned the value of an education and I enjoy the blessed opportunity of being able to go to an LDS school. I hope to continue gaining an education throughout my life so I can better serve the church and those around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I want my name to be a part of the wonderful collective of good-doers that is the LDS Church. My faith in Christ has allowed me to witness many miracles. With all the challenges and thrown wrenches in life, the church is always true and it is a constant source of stability in my life. There is a light that comes with the full truth of the gospel and when that light is absent or overshadowed by other things, the clarity is replaced with a blur. Heavenly Father watches over me even when I lack faith and his presence brings me such joy. He knows my personally and answers my prayers and so I place all my trust in him. The Book of Mormon is a testament of Christ and just like the Bible, it provides instruction and motivation for those who turn to it and study it. The restoration of the church brought about a prophet and apostles who are a link for instruction directly from our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I have the privilege to work with the children of the church. Every Sunday I get to see the smiling faces of the younger generation of the church and help build the foundations that they will build on. I try to represent the church and my Heavenly Father by finding opportunities to serve my community.
