Hi I'm Keith

I own a virtual world where I share the Gospel with the world. I also have lived with bipolar disorder for most of my life.

About Me

I share the Gospel in a virtual world called Second Life. I have a beautiful family, with four adult daughters and one adopted son still at home. My wife and I have been married for 35 years now, with plans to share eternity. I have been blessed to live in many places, all over the world, including Jerusalem and the Far East.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was only a young teen, I asked my Father in Heaven to know if this Church was true, if it was indeed His Church. Not by sudden divine manifestation, but through a slow and steady distillation of the truth, I have come to know for myself this IS His Church. I know it as surely as I know the sun rises each day. I know it as surely as the prophets of old knew God, and just as it was with the prophets of old, I know my responsibility to share what I know with my brothers and sisters here on earth. To this I testify in Jesus name, Amen!

How I live my faith

I believe true Christians should live as Jesus lived. I strive each day to be more like my Savior. It is not easy, but I know it pleases Him when I do my best. Whenever I am faced with a challenge in life, I ask myself, "What would Jesus do." I do this because I KNOW He lives! I am the clerk in our congregation with the responsibility to assist our bishopric with the record keeping, and to make sure no member is overlooked. I also have charge of our meetinghouse to keep it clean and in good repair, and I assist the other leaders, by helping to ensure each family in our congregation is visited in their home each month.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Church services are run by the members of the congregation, under a lay priesthood leadership. The focus of all instruction in the Church is to receive truth through the Holy Spirit, for that is His divine mission. After study and prayer, teachers present lessons in a format that would be familiar to any member anywhere in the world, following carefully written manuals which help keep all instruction in harmony with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Visitors are welcome at all our meetings, and will find a strong bond of brotherhood and friendship as soon as they enter. Show more Show less

What is the difference between attending a Mormon Church and a Mormon Temple?

The Lord loves all His children, and as such, everyone is invited to attend church meetings held at local congregations. Temples are like the Lord's graduate school - those who enter there must first be well prepared in order to understand what is taught. For this reason, temples are open only to faithful members of the Church who are ready and capable of receiving His teachings there. Show more Show less
