Hi I'm Christian

I'm a husband. I'm a father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am husband and father of three wonderful children. I love coaching my kids soccer teams and spending time with them as much as I can. I presently work in the IT field and am also completing a Masters in Business Administration. Life is pretty busy. When I can find some free time I enjoy exercising, playing golf, and being at the beach or on a boat.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and that he has prepared a plan for us to return to be with him someday. This plan is provided in the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. As I have lived the principles that Mormons believe, I have experienced peace and happiness in my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life the best I can each and every day. I served a two-year mission in Honduras when I was 19 years old. Since then I have had opportunities to teach Sunday School as well as work with our youth program. Just about 8 months ago I was called to be the Bishop for our ward. This was a very humbling experience for me and I feel extremely grateful to be able to serve in this capacity. The role of a bishop is very similar to that of a pastor or preacher for any other denomination. As a bishop I get to work with all the members in our ward on a daily basis. We focus on teaching the Gospel in our meetings and helping others grow closer to the Savior. I try my best to lead and serve in a way that would please my Heavenly Father. I know that my Savior lives and that he came to this earth to atone for my sins. I am grateful to him for this ultimate sacrifice. I know that only through him can we return to our Father in Heaven.
