Hi I'm Chad

I am a skateboarder, an engineer, a ballroom dancer, a husband, and a father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love skateboarding but hardly ever get time to do it. Now I mostly eat, sleep, work, and help my wife catch up with the carnage that is dishes, laundry, and millions of miscellaneous items that appear on the floor and any flat surface. I love being with my four kids. It is fun to watch their personalities unfold and to help guide them in life. I love going on dates with my wife - usually to dinner and sometimes a movie.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon household. When I was 14, I learned for myself that it was true through an answer to prayer. How could I not be a Mormon? You know that the real name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have come to know that Jesus Christ has restored His church to the earth through a prophet in the early 1800s. The church is still here, and continues to have a living prophet who gives us guidance from the Lord. The priesthood and the saving ordinances have been restored to the earth - these are essential to happiness in this life and eternal life (a life like my Heavenly Father has, with my wife and children) after this life. I want those things, so that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try my best to learn what the Lord wants me to do, and then I do my best to do it. When I don't do what I know he wants me to do, I ask for the Lords help to be humble enough to repent. I try to pray daily and read the scriptures on a daily basis, as those things help keep me aligned with what the Lord wants me to do.
