Hi I'm Allie

Hablo Spanglish. I love to people watch. I love to try NEW things. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. I love helping others and my profession as a Physical Therapist Assistant allows me to do this everyday. I love being outside in nature and seeing the changes in the seasons in Utah. I enjoy sports especially soccer, volleyball and basketball. Serving others is very important to me. School is also a big part of my life, I love to learn new things and especially things that I can share with others. If I could have a dream of mine come true it would be to travel the world and meet the amazing children of God that live there. I am never bored. I always look for the positive in any situation. The way I know people love me is if they spend time with me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to have parents who were already members of the church. I was taught gospel principles at a very young age. I remember at the age of eight my parents having a very special family home evening about baptism and what it ment to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I had the opportunity to ask my Heavenly Father in a simple prayer if this was the right thing to do. I didn't get an outstanding answer but each and everyday of my life I see confirmation that what I did at such a young age was correct. When I think of my membership in this church I continue to feel peace and comfort. I know this church is true with all my heart. I was blessed to have the opportunity to serve my Heavenly Father by serving a Full-Time Mission for His Church in Washington DC which made me even more grateful for the sacrifices that were made by my ancestors to join this church. The members are not perfect but the Gospel Principles are.

How I live my faith

I celebrate, laugh, cry and simply listen to my family, neighbors and friends. I try my best to show my love by serving in simple ways, a smile can go a long way. I also love to send notes and bake treats to brighten people's day. Each week at church I am blessed to hear and see the testimonies of others. I try to share my testimony by my example. Since returning home from my mission in Washington DC I read my scriptures and say my prayers in Spanish which has helped me to remember that God is our Heavenly Father and He knows and loves each of us personally and perfectly. He understands what we are going through and is always waiting for us to come to Him.
