Hi I'm Ryan L. Griffin

I was involved in an accident that left me a C1/C2 quadriplegic 10 years ago, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Ryan Griffin, I am 29 and I have graduated from college in 2010. While attending University, in 2005 I was involved in an accident that left me a vent-dependent quadriplegic. In a PE class, I was running, I lost my balance, and hit headfirst into the wall, losing the ability of all function from my neck down. Though this has left me physically disabled, it has not affected my attitude about life, my ability to interact with others, and my goal to have and support a future family. I have served a mission in the Philippines. This experience has given me the most valuable lessons I could ever learn. I have learned the value of working with many people from many different backgrounds. I have learned much about myself, my characteristics and how to serve and love people unconditionally. Through this, I hope the people I came in contact with were able to feel of the Spirit and change their lives, if only a little. These experiences and hopefully many more to come will continue to define my character and hopefully the characters of those I come in contact with.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the knowledge that I have learned from this faith has given me peace. It has helped me to understand more about who I am and who God is.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching it to others and by trying to lead a life that the Lord would be proud of.
