Hi I'm Rebekah

I'm a Mormon daughter, sister, wife, and mother.

About Me

I am a 28 year old wife and mother. I was raised in Atlanta, Georgia and I love it there, a city girl at heart. I come from a split home. I am the middle child with 2 brothers. I am also the older sister to two half-sisters. I am the only active member of my family. I am a return missionary from the Canada Toronto West Mission. That is where I met my future husband who was baptized in Sudbury, Ontario. We got sealed/married in the Atlanta temple and have since brought one beautiful daughter into this world. I know that there is a living prophet on the earth today. President Thomas S. Monson is that living prophet. He speaks the word of God just as the prophets of old. There are 12 Apostles who also walk the earth just as in days of old. I love The Lord. You too should pray to find the truth, the path that The Lord has set for you. He loves you and wants to hear from you a guide you. We are His children. We are His life. Live your life to make Him proud.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I prayed to know the truth. I was raised in the church, but I am the only one who attends regularly. I have met many people from all walks of life and still throughout this life the Lord has lead me to where I am. Heavenly Father speaks to his children today, to all of them, we just have to listen. I chose to listen and this is where I stand.

How I live my faith

One day at a time. I am no where near perfect. I go to church every Sunday. I do my best to do personal scripture study and prayer, though I am no where close to good at it. I participate in my calling at church. I have been asked and volunteer to do many things to help the church be organized and that is what a calling is.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

It is the word of God. It gives of record of those who lived before us. It tells us of trials and tribulations that were overcome through the assistance of Heavenly Father. The New Testament tells us of the life of Christ and many of the examples that He set to help us in the here and now. Show more Show less
