Hi I'm Camilla.

I'm a wife and a mother of three young children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother to three young children, ages six, four, and one. My days are spent reading fairy tales, cooking, sewing, hugging, living my faith, and teaching my little ones. I enjoy taking care of my family and the simple things in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family of faithful Mormons. I grew up learning all about Heavenly Father's plan for us, and feeling the warmth and happiness that comes from following the gospel. It just makes sense to me that we are here on this earth for a purpose. It makes sense to me that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us. It makes sense to me that He provided a way for us to return to Him, through our Savior Jesus Christ. It makes sense to me that because of Jesus Christ, we can repent and be forgiven when we make mistakes. It makes sense to me that families may continue beyond the grave. It makes sense to me that we have a living prophet to guide us. I continue to live the gospel I was taught as a child becuase it makes sense to me. I have felt the peace in my life that comes from studying my scriptures, praying to our Father in Heaven, attending the temple and church meetings, and keeping the commmandments. Living the gospel brings me true and deep happiness, even through the hard days in life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to live the teachings of Jesus Christ. I try to be kind to others and serve those around me. I enjoy taking meals to people who are sick, and visiting those who are lonely or going through a difficult time. To help remind me what is most important in life, I pray daily with my husband and family, and also privately, we read from the scriptures every night before bed, we enjoy Family Home Evening, where we learn about Heaveny Father and Jesus Christ and also grow as a family, I attend the temple with my husband, and we also attend church together every Sunday. I currently organize meetings during the week for the Sisters of the church.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

We believe that the husband and wife work together as equal partners. The husband is responsible for protecting and providing for the family. The wife is responsible primarily for the nurturing of the children. Both husband and wife are obligated to help one another in these responsibilites. At this time, I am able to stay home with our children while my husband works. But of course, we work together as a team to raise our children, and also to protect our home and organize our finances. Both jobs are equally important and respected. Show more Show less
