Hi I'm Lisa

My family has been in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1880. I love researching family history. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing, and I've learned to play the piano. I also enjoy getting together with family, helping other people, reading a good book, and shopping at thrift stores. I have raised 8 children and am enjoying being a grandmother to a growing number of grandchildren. My life's ambition has been to be the best homemaker and mother that I could be.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and is my Savior. My parents taught me to believe in God, and took me to the Methodist church when I was a child. When I was a teenager, my family was taught by the Mormon missionaries during the 1970's, and we joined the Church. My testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been challenged by life's trials and disappointments, but I have been able to stay close to the church and to my Savior by continuing to treasure up His word, praying in faith, and attending church. I have felt His healing power, and His great love for me. I have seen His power work in the lives of my husband and children.

How I live my faith

I have been involved in doing my own family history research for over 30 years. Now I am using what I know to help other people search for their ancestors.
