Hi I'm Cassie Watts

I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an auntie and a friend.

About Me

I'm happy and I smile alot. I like practical jokes and film marathons. I have 4 children and a genius of a husband. My family is what's most important to me and I'd do just about anything for them. My parents are brilliant, they are my heroes. I have a large extended family with 22 grand-children and still counting. I grew up in Essex, then moved to Shropshire when I was 15, got married and moved to Leicestershire and 4 children later, we are back in Essex....it's the only way!

Why I am a Mormon

The reasons why I am a Mormon are very simple...I have come to know that God is real. I believe that He sent His Son to die for man, that we might live. I have read The Book of Mormon and believe it to go hand in hand with the bible, truly, another testament of Jesus Christ. I know the people who wrote in them really walked the earth and they wrote those things for me to read. I have prayed and had unmistakable, direct answers to my questions and pleas. When I take the time to pray to my Heavenly Father I can feel Jesus Christ's embrace and am comforted because I know he has walked in my shoes and paid my price. I am grateful for the feeling of unconditional love from my Father in Heaven who knows me personally and for my overflowing and very deep basket of blessings. Raising a young family is hard sometimes but I draw strength that it is the most important job I could ever do, and God is supporting me in it. I feel His love and help every day. I know that He hears me, I have no doubt in that.

How I live my faith

Serving others is a great way for me to remember my blessings and to show love to others. Each day I try to live the commandments that God has given us, it's hard sometimes but I do this to the best of my ability. If I need help, all I have to do is pray for it and it will come. Listening to what our prophet -Thomas S Monson- says is really key for me, he has been called in our time which is a real comfort. He knows the world today so most of the issues I might face- he faces too. I teach a fortnightly Zumba class at our church, it's free fun! I love to meet with my friends there and have a great time. We probably do more laughing that exercising but that's ok...I hope ;-) 2 Sundays a month I teach the women in our church, for about an hour. I love it. I learn so much and it encourages me to dig deeper and learn more about being a disciple of Christ.
