Hi I'm Sam

I help people keep factories and equipment running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of six children. I love most types of music. I really enjoy just spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because first of all I have faith in Jesus Christ and I want to live my life as close to His example as I can. I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His Church restored. I also believe that God continues to love his children and that he has not said everything He has to say to Mankind and to me personally. I love that we have a living Prophet on the Earth today to help us to navigate an often challenging and changing landscape.

How I live my faith

Service in the Church brings us into contact with all of the different groups of people who worship together. For the past several years I have served in the High Priest Group leadership where the focus is on service and Family History. Just recently I was called to be my daughter's assistant teaching three-year-old children in Primary.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Sam
I think the best way to increase our faith in Jesus Christ is to follow Him and His example, to gauge everything that we do in every aspect of our lives by the standards which He has established. When we have the pure love of Christ in our lives are we likely to treat ourselves or others with contempt or disrespect? If we view our lives in an eternal perspective are we likely to be upset by trivial things? If we know that God our Heavenly Father sent His Son to provide a way for us to return to him at such great sacrifice can we view ourselves or others as someone with little or no value? The scriptures say seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you, ask and it shall be given. If you have even the smallest desire to believe then decide to have faith in Jesus Christ and act on that decision. This is the formula for increasing faith. Show more Show less
