Hi I'm Beverly

I grew up in Puerto Rico. I joined the church when I was sixteen. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attended BYU and graduated in 1993 with a major in Medical Technology. I am now married and have five beautiful children. I love to serve in the church and be a good example to my husband and children.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 16. I knew that it was the right thing to do. I am grateful for my parents example. They brought the missionaries into our home and we started being taught what they call the discussions. The church changed our lives for the better. I don't know what I would do without the gospel in my life. I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I serve in the Young Women Organization--I am the secretary. I get to teach their Sunday School lessons once in a while.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Beverly
I love the way the church organization is set up. We first have Sacrament Meeting, then Sunday School, and the last hour the children go to the Primary Room, the Young Women go to another room, the Young Men to another, and the adult women and men to a different room. We are all taught by members of the same ward who have callings to teach in the Primary, with the Young Men or Young Women, or with the adult women (Relief Society) or adult men (Priesthood). We accept those callings to have opportunities to serve and feel the spirit. Show more Show less
