Hi I'm Stephanie

I love running, photography, music, and being a wife and mommy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I studied Early Childhood Education at the University of Utah (and loved it), but right now I'm lucky to be able to stay home with my sweet baby girl. Being a Mom is the hardest, but most fulfilling thing I have ever done. I also love running, baking, music, laughing and goofing off with my husband, eating popcorn, hiking, photography, and long talks with my sisters and friends. I think life is great.

Why I am a Mormon

There have been times in my life when I've doubted my religion. Every single time, I come to the same conclusion. I am SO much happier when I live the gospel of Jesus Christ! Keeping the commandments makes my life so much better, and brings me joy. Being active in my religion gives me so many opportunities to do good, and to love and serve others, which brings more purpose to my life. Through many personal experiences, I have gained a testimony that God lives. I have felt His love for me in very personal, real ways. I have had countless prayers answered, and know that He is aware of me, and wants me to be happy. I know that He loves all of His children, and wants all of us to be happy. He will help us find this happiness (regardless of what is going on in our lives) if we turn to Him, and trust Him. I have also gained a testimony that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I know He died for me- He atoned for my sins so that I can repent and improve, and live with God and my family again. I know that He is there to help me, and knows what I am going through when life gets hard. I know He loves me regardless of the mistakes I make- He loves me unconditionally, no matter what. Reading the Book of Mormon brings me closer to God and to Jesus Christ. When I follow the teachings in the Book of Mormon- I am happier. I have felt for myself, in ways that are hard to describe, that the Book of Mormon is true. I am Mormon because it leads me to do good, brings me closer to God, and brings so much happiness and joy into my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be Christlike and loving others. I am nowhere near perfect, and make mistakes every day, but believe that is why we are here on the earth- to learn and improve! I live my faith by being happy, and by trying to share that happiness and love with others. "Adam fell that men might be, and men are that they might have joy." -2 Nephi 2:25

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Mormons are not required to serve missions. Members of the Church serve missions because they want to share their love of the gospel, and the happiness it brings them, with others. Show more Show less
