Hi I'm Angela

I am a wife and a stay-at-home mother of six children! My baby is currently receiving chemotherapy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! My name is Angela and I am a wife and mother of six active children! I love this job and feel blessed by God that He has given me this marvelous blessing in this life. Besides driving my kids from place to place to their activities, I enjoy reading, jogging, volunteering at my kids' schools, and serving in my church with the teenagers! My husband also serves in our church and gives much of his time to do so. Supporting him gives me strength and added blessings come from knowing that he is helping people and doing good on a daily basis! I feel rewarded when I help meet the needs of others and am happy when I can have those opportunities often! In addition, I have a four-year-old son who has a rare disease called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis, or LCH. It is a rare blood disease, can be like cancer, and is treated like cancer. He has undergone two separate rounds of chemotherapy and is currently healthy and well! We feel blessed and pray that God continues to bless him in this way.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love being a Mormon! Jesus Christ is my example. As I strive to follow his ways, I am strengthened and feel happy. I know that because he willingly suffered and died for all mankind, he was risen again after the third day. And because he was risen again after death (resurrected), we all have the opportunity to be resurrected as well. I know that because of these things, I can be together forever with my family and with God and Christ! This brings me so much joy and hope! I look forward to the day when I will see my Savior again!

How I live my faith

I love my faith and try to live it the best I can each day. In my community, I organize and support an annual donation campaign for our local Children's Hospital. How I love getting to know others that live in my area all while I am able to help with a good cause! Also, as I said above, I spend much of my time helping the teenagers in our church. Teaching them once a month on Sundays, and planning and providing weekly activities for them is uplifting to me. Sometimes it seems like a sacrifice to give my time in this way, when my younger children are at home, and my husband is also gone to the church. However, the good that comes in my life from giving of my time and efforts in this way, is so enjoyable! Additionally, each month I get to visit other women from our church. Getting out to see them, finding out about their lives, and striving to meet their needs, helps me to forget my own problems and really helps me understand who I am as an individual. I really enjoy and look forward to these visits each month!
