Hi I'm Kasidy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm happily married to a wonderful man named Lance. I just started Pharmacy school in the great hot state of Arizona. My husband is living in Connecticut for the next few months finishing a Physician Assistant degree at Yale University. We love traveling and new adventures.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family. My parents were great in that they taught me what they know to be true and then stood back and let me struggle to decide for myself whether or not the teaching of the Mormon church are true. I learned quickly that I am a happy only when I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and obey the messages He gives through the living prophet and apostles. I know, because I have lived its teachings, that this is the true church of Christ upon the earth. It was restored through Joseph Smith, as the same church that Christ himself organized in his earthly ministry. I know that anyone can have the same happiness that I have if they live the teachings of this church.

How I live my faith

I serve in the library at my church building on Sundays. I help teachers get materials together for their lessons, such as pictures, crayons, chalk etc. I am also a visiting teacher. This is where I have a woman in my ward, or congregation, that I am assigned to as a partner and together, we visit other women in our ward. It is our responsibility to teach them as well as offer any service that they may need. Most importantly, it helps us to become Christ-like, build relationships, and become friends.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Mormons believe in the Bible because we believe in Christ. The Bible, both the Old and New testaments, are witnesses of Christ. He life is recorded in the Bible and if we are to become like him, we must know what he is like. Show more Show less
