Hi I'm Holly

I'm a music teacher, mother of two and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to a great guy. We are blessed with two beautiful children. I studied music education/performance at BYU-Idaho. I enjoy teaching piano/violin/voice lessons, creating music, gardening, reading, singing, playing the violin, piano and organ. I know the most important work I can ever do is at home with my family. I love my family and I love the Lord!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know it is true. Following the gospel of Jesus Christ brings great peace to my family and I. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know He is my Redeemer. He is the way, the truth, the Master, and the Good Shepherd. Through his atoning sacrifice, crucifixion, and Resurrection, I know I can repent and be forgiven of my sins and someday return to live with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I know that the Savior can make up the inadequacies in my life as long as I am doing my very best. I know that families can be together forever if we live faithfully and through honoring the covenants we make with our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have served in various organizations including Relief Society, Young Women and Primary. I'm currently the Primary 1st Counselor, which means I work with children ages 3-11. I enjoy teaching gospel concepts and principles to children because it helps me remember and learn them again. I'm grateful to be able to share my testimony with the children in Primary and see their testimonies grow. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve and share the light of Christ with others. I also enjoy spending time with my family. They bring me great joy!

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

We can come to know our Father in Heaven through prayer. We pray to Him. He is our God. He hears and answers every prayer. We can also learn about our Heavenly Father by studying the scriptures which tell of His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus did all that Heavenly Father asked. By following the example of Jesus Christ, we get to know him and our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
