Hi I'm Jed Balolong

I am a graphic artist and a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up and spend all my life in the Philippines. I am a high perspective artist and dedicated to missionary work. I have endowed with wonderful talents and abilities, such as writing, drawing, digital and media production and some professional-art related skills. I always like to create new ideas and visualize it. I really love working with the full-time missionaries and now I'm serving the Lord as one of them. I want to help the Lord to fulfill His marvelous work in bringing back the souls through the restored gospel in order for them to obtain salvation and eternal of happiness. As of now, I consecrated my time, effort and energy to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, finding and inviting people to come unto Him. This kind of sacrifice is not just easy, I am encountering different challenges in our area, and I strive to set goals and plans on how to face them and to fulfill my duty. I have a companion right who is been supportive to each other, I think one of the best thing so far, is to trust and build unity to one another to gain success in our work.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to become a latter-day saint. I have felt something wonderful and it comforts and succors my feeling. I am so convinced and visited by the holy spirit who testify to me that this is the true church that I should belong. I have my testimony that to become a Mormon is to become more happy and it is already my way of life. Way back then, I was still a child when I enjoy the company of members. I had grown with lots of friends attended many wonderful activities in the Church, and they were so very profitable and useful to my life. Through all those things,I realize that Heavenly Father so much loves me and He always cares all the time. Another thing is through the Book of Mormon, I've read it and learned so much regarding the revelations and commandments of God to his people. I was convinced the Jesus is really the Christ. I have also come to know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet, that by him, the fullness of the gospel and it's blessings was restored in our time. I'm really glad to bear my testimony, that I'm a Mormon, a latter-day saint, and I feel right now that I am closer to God.

How I live my faith

Faith is the first of all the principles of the gospel in all intelligent beings and the assurance of men have of the existence of all things. Then, I live it in putting the kingdom of God first in all my doings, actions, decisions, sayings and feelings. I also fulfilled my Duty to god program accompanied by scouting. I am working with the full-time missionaries, sharing my testimony to other people and to my friends. I am striving to follow the life-steps of Jesus Christ.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Jed Balolong
We need a Savior, the Messiah who will atone for our sins and redeem all mankind, in order that we may attain our personal salvation and exaltation. We cannot be as God nor be justified to Him even we have kept and live all the commandments, ordinances and laws of the Gospel, have great faith, have the priesthood and have been married in the temple unless there is the power, mercy and grace of our Savior. He is the truth, the way and the life, no one cometh unto the Father except through Him. Show more Show less
