Hi I'm Brandon

I'm a Son, I'm a Brother, I'm a Student, I'm an Individual, I'm a Donor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The focus of my life is my testimony of Christ. I believe in Christ and know that He is the Savior of the world. I come from an awesome family and love my brothers, sister and parents. I am at BYU studying Physiology and Developmental Biology. I love science and am fascinated with the way our bodies work and the miracle of life. The more I study and learn, the stronger my faith and testimony become. I play the piano and love Jazz music. I served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Jamaica and in the Bahamas and spent two years preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. I had the opportunity to donate my Bone Marrow in order to help save my little sister's life. It was a very sacred and special experience to be able to offer myself and give her the opportunity to continue to live, grow and enjoy the beauties of life. I am a dedicated and honest person. I love my faith, my family, and my friends. I am a son, a brother, a student, an individual, a bone marrow donor, and a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's true and living church, once again established upon the earth. I know that Jesus Christ taught his people throughout time and called prophets anciently as recorded in the Bible and Book of Mormon. I know that Christ came to Earth and ministered personally, teaching us in word and in deed what we must do to live with our Father in Heaven again. I know that Christ's ancient church fell into apostasy and was lost from the earth. I know that in the 1800's, the Lord Jesus Christ called another prophet to guide his people in these last days. I know that this man was Joseph Smith. I know that through him, the Lord restored his original church to the earth and also brought forth and translated an ancient book of scripture, the Book of Mormon. I know the members of the church in the 1800's were greatly persecuted and were eventually compelled to cross the great plains of America and settle in what is now the state of Utah. I know that my ancestors made immeasurable sacrifices so that their posterity, me, could receive the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that I have been born of goodly parents who have taught me these eternal truths and helped me begin to live them in my youth. I know all these things to be true because I have experienced it myself. I have studied, I have prayed, and I have received a witness from God, through the Holy Ghost. I live it, because I know it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily by keeping the commandments of God. I abstain from Alcohol, illegal drugs, and other harmful substances, as well as pornography, immorality, and sexual relations outside of marriage. I worship God daily through prayer and scripture study. I seek to exemplify the life of my Savior by giving of my time, possessions, and talents in the service of others. I attend church every week and help lift and support my fellowman. I dedicated two years of my life to full time missionary service and spent this time teaching the gospel to the wonderful people of Jamaica and the Bahamas. I had the opportunity to serve, support, teach, and learn from these great people. I continue to live my faith by coming closer to my Father in Heaven through prayer and seeking His guidance in my life. In all things I do in my life, I focus on what the Lord would have me to do. I am honest with others and hope to someday be able to fully and completely say, as the Savior did, "[Father] not my will, but thine, be done." (Luke 24:42)
