Hi I'm Tonnia

I love this gospel and it has taught me so much and I hope to continue to learn.

About Me

I am the wife of a great husband and the mother of our 3 wonderful children. We love doing stuff as a family such as board games, video games, karaoke, telling jokes, and being silly together. I love the relationship we share amongst one another. My husband and I currently serve as joint Physical Facilities Reps (aka janitors hahaha) It has been a very challenging calling but very rewarding. We are more than grateful for the willingness of the fellow ward members to help in this calling. We have been married for 10 years.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have seen His hand so much in my life, I cannot deny this gospel or His words.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live what I learn and to hopefully pass this onto my posterity. I try to create learning moments often within my home and incorporate the gospel into daily living.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, we are. We believe in Jesus Christ and only through him can we return to live with our father in heaven again. Show more Show less

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

It is important to be able to support ourselves temporally so that we can help others. It empowers us to be able to take care of our own needs and creates less stress. In turn we can help others who need it, who otherwise cannot. Show more Show less

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

They way we dress is a direct reflection of how we want to portray ourselves to others. If we are dressed in a modest, clean and nice fashion, we will not attract negative attention nor unwanted thoughts. We all know deep down how dressing makes us feel, so dressing one way and thinking another never go hand in hand. We will dress to set our image. Show more Show less
