Hi I'm Dan

I'm a Mormon. I am an estate planning attorney in Phoenix, Arizona. I was born and raised in Arizona.

About Me

My parents are members of the Church as were their parents. I am a fifth generation member. Some of my ancestors came across the plains when the members of the Church left Nauvoo, ILL. My service in the Church includes many different callings over the years. Currently I am serving as a counselor to the mission president of Arizona Phoenix Mission. I am also still working as an estate planning attorney. Even though my parents were active members of the Church I still needed to establish my own testimony as I grew and developed. I know that God lives, His son also lives and he came to this earth to gain a mortal body and die for us that we will live again. I know this is true with all my heart and I willingly testify of its truthfulness. During these years I have observed and spoken to many who have also come to know the same of which I have testified

Why I am a Mormon

I try to live my life in a way that those around me know I care about them. That they too are children of a loving God who knows them by name. That love cures all thing when God is a part of that love. When we serve with all of our heart, might, mind and strength we will know we have served Him also. That we can return to Him with honor. I know that my Savior lives and some day I will return to his presence and I can in person thank him for what he did for me and all mankind.

How I live my faith

Having grown up on a dairy farm I learned that success in life comes from hard work and faithful obedience to the laws of God. This has helped me to understand and I came to know that I can do anything I want if I am willing to work hard and do my very best. Five years in the US Air Force as a navigator on a refueling air craft during the Vietnam War how important it is to be obedient and faithful to the commandments of God. People's lives change when they in turn change the lives of others. I have learned that if we are willing to work hard and do our very best we can succeed. Law school taught me that if I serve the Lord, work hard, study well and provide for my family He will do the rest. He did that for me and continues today to help me accomplish those things which are best for me and my family. During these years it has been made plain and simple to me that when I am in the service of my fellow man I am in the service of God. This has been a blessing to me, my wife and to our family who are examples to others and even to the world.

Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Joseph was a very young man when he chose to ask God what he should do. The question because it was done in faith in God was given to him. He grew a young man of very little knowledge to a prophet of God knowing and understanding the plan which God established for us before we left His presents. The plan was the plan of salvation also known as the plan of happyiness. Show more Show less

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

When a person listens to the plan for families to be together forever it makes sense because it makes them feel good. It just seems so familiar. Show more Show less
