Hi I'm Paul

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV. I now live in the South. I served a 2-yr mission in the Philippines. I'm an accountant and a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband to a wonderful woman. I am a father to three boys and one girl; 9 years old, 7 years old, 4 years old (girl), and 1 year old. I am an accountant working as the Assistant Financial Controller for a local business. I have a Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Technology. I love to play baseball, football, and basketball with my boys. I love to make my wife and daughter laugh. I am a professional K'Nex architect with certification from my kids. My wife also has a degree in accounting as well as a Spanish degree. She has chosen the hardest profession to stay home with our children and home school them rather than enter the workforce of only 40 hours a week. Jesus Christ is our central focus in raising our children to be leaders in the community while serving others.

Why I am a Mormon

The Holy Ghost touched my spirit when I was 15 years old on a camping trip with the Boy Scouts. As I was studying about the Lost Books of the Bible in the Bible Dictionary with my friend Jared, the Spirit filled my heart and testified to me of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I learned then that the Lord has so many things that are yet to be revealed to us that we need to prepare ourselves to receive. Since then I have reflected again and again on that experience. Our Heavenly Father loves us and wants what is best for us. I am grateful to have a knowledge of His plan of salvation. I know that God has again called a prophet to lead His church to usher in the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed leading groups of volunteers in disaster relief efforts after the wrath of the April 27, 2011 and Jan 23, 2012 tornadoes. I have seen lives changed by the Christ-like acts of charity sacrificed by hundreds of volunteers. I live by example in the way I treat my wife and children and by sharing my testimony of Jesus Christ. I enjoy visiting the homes of members to watch over and share messages with them.
