Hi I'm A. Sticht

I'm a Mom, I'm a Military Wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a wife for over 10 years and a Mother for Almost 8 years. I have a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting. I have had 6 kids. My Second child was born at 28 weeks and only lived a few short hours. I am blessed to know that he will be with my family again someday. The rest of the kids can be a handful sometimes. I love and cherish each one and each one is different from the next. I love the Theater. I hope to instill the love of theater and all the arts in my children. Most Importantly, I want to share my love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them and show them and others my love for the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was looking for a church to raise me in. She was told by an Aunt to come and try her church. When we walked through the doors of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she knew it was where we belonged. That is how we found the church. I am still a member today, because I gained my own personal testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have read the Book of Mormon and through prayer and study know it to be a divine work written by prophets through the power of the Lord. It is another testament of Jesus Christ and reading it shows me how we are all truly loved by him. I want to raise my children to be strong individuals and firm in the knowledge of Jesus Christ and he and the Father's love for them.. He is my Savior. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday that he has given me a beautiful family that I can be with forever.

How I live my faith

I share my love of the Gospel with the 12 and 13 year old youth of my church, as their Sunday School teacher. I also Plan the Music for the Sunday meetings of our Women's Organization.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

A. Sticht
The Book of Mormon is a Compilation of writings from Prophets who lived in the America's in Ancient times. It was compiled by Mormon a Prophet in ancient America. He gave his son Moroni the Golden Plates on which he had written the book. These plates were shown and given to Joseph Smith. He translated them through power given by God the Father. Joseph then published what is now know as the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is a companion to the Bible. They both have things to teach us. The Book of Mormon testifies of Jesus Christ and his role as the Savior. Show more Show less
