Hi I'm Christine

I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of five awesome kids. I love to sing and play the piano, especially at the same time. My dream is to be a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. My dormant career is in Family History (five kids keep me plenty busy). If neighbors need advice with their genealogy, however, I'm eager to help.

Why I am a Mormon

To put it simply...it's true! I've been a member since a young age. Everything I've learned and then applied to my life has brought me happiness. Whenever I see a truly happy child it reminds me of what it's like knowing that I'm a child of a Heavenly Father and that my life has eternal potential.

How I live my faith

At the beginning of the year I switched from children's music director to 10-11 year old girl activities' leader. It is rewarding to see them discover how to live happy lives. One of our summer activities was a hit! We invited the moms to join us for a crazy, mixed-up dinner. We had lots of food and SMILES!

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Christine
Many people who have died were never given the chance to hear the truths of the gospel while living on earth. We believe that they deserve the same opportunities that those who accept the gospel on earth have. In performing these saving ordinances for the dead, by someone acting as proxy, each deceased person has the chance to accept entrance into God's kingdom. Show more Show less
