Hi I'm Virginia Bunn

I'm a student genealogist, animal loving wannabe farmer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have spent a lot of time at home taking care of my sister, who has been diagnosed/labeled with developmental & behavioral disabilities. I have a wide variety of hobbies including reading, crochet, & gardening. Growing up my family has had several cats, dogs, fish, & birds. I struggle with various health issues including a severe allergy. I am grateful for the gospel and the strength it gives through my trials in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because I prayed to know truth. I had some experiences that took me some time to get through and blamed God for what happened and had grown up in the church. I studied other religions and nothing ever felt right. Once I stopped blaming Him for what happened I was able to open my heart and find the truth I had been searching for. I know that Christ can heal each of us if we let him.

How I live my faith

I do my best at following Christs example. I share the gospel when I have the opportunity and go with the missionaries to appointments. I study the scriptures and pray, go to the temple, I love to serve. "When you are in service of your fellow beings, you are in the service of your God"

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Virginia Bunn
No one is required to serve a mission. Some of the apostles never served a proselyting mission, however they did take other roles in doing the lords work in other positions. Each of us chooses for our self if we are to go on a mission. Show more Show less
