Hi I'm Kari Lee

My name is Kari, and I'm a Mormon. I love life, because of the gospel.

About Me

There are so many things that I love about life. I am happily married, with four children, who keep my life full of joy. I learned at a young age, that if you believe in yourself, you will be happy. So I try to always choose to be happy, and to continue to learn. I recently ran in a race with my husband, where I pushed myself to run 31 miles. I loved proving to myself that I could do it! I can do hard things! The older I get, the more I realize that there are so many opportunites yet to realize. So I am out trying to realize them...

Why I am a Mormon

Where do I even begin? Being a Mormon is everything to me. It is why I am so passionate about my life. I have come to know that I can be happy, and the Lord wants me to be. There are hard things happening all around us. I know that my children are being raised in a world where values are shifting, and people are losing their faith. This makes me want to work harder, and to bear testimony that I know that the Lord has not left us...nor will he ever. The gospel is literally the plan of happiness, and through my knowledge of the Savior, I have come to know peace. True peace.

How I live my faith

I am currenlty working with the youth of our church. What a treat! I truly believe that the children being born today are stronger than ever before. If they believe in something they fight for it. It is exciting to watch young women be so passionate. We are learning from each other. I have also learned that people don't care what you know, until they know that you care. We need to care more about each other...really care.

Which of the Savior’s teachings have influenced you in your life?

Kari Lee
Forgiveness. The Savior has taught me to forgive. To forgive others, to forgive family, to forgive myself. When I forgive, the weight is taken from me, and I can move forward in my life. The Savior wants us to be happy. Why should we carry unwanted burdens, when he will remove them from us? Forgiving myself has been the hardest challenge. We push hard to be the very best we can be, but we will make mistakes, we are human. He expects us to forgive ourselves, through His atonement, so that we can be perfected in Him. What a beautiful gift. I am so grateful for it, and try to honor Him, by honoring His gift. Show more Show less
