Hi I'm Brennan J

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Husband, Father, Son, Church Worker, Entrepreneur, Consultant, Triathalete, Cyclist, Patriot, Mentor, Leader, Supporter! I am many things but because I am Mormon I can be all of these things.

Why I am a Mormon

I converted to the gospel and church in April of 2008. I became a member of the church because I believe in the Values and Principles the church and gospel teach. I also wanted to raise my family in something that was true & right while providing an eternal future. Family is most important to me and the future of this world. The Faith and church called me, Heavenly Father sent my wife, a life long member, to come and get me. I am grateful for my earthly angel.

How I live my faith

After converting, our ward leadership called me to serve as a Teachers Quorum Advisor. This was the best place for me to go. I serve in Scouts and in the Teachers Quorum I try to live by example of Christ each day at work and in my home. The Lessons I have learned from being in Young Menes are exactly what a new convert to the church needs. Being able to learn by watching and practicing next to them is something special. Passing and Blessing the Sacrament is an honorable ordinance for a young man to administer, I am grateful for their example and teaching me. This summer my wife and I served as Ma and Pa on out Stake Youth Pioneer Trek. If you ever get the chance to serve in this capacity, I recommend you take the opportunity. The preparation and commitment to the Trek blessed our family, we found out two days before the Trek that we were expecting our first child.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Brennan J
I always get asked “was it hard to become a member of the church?” I always answer by saying “No, I can show you how easy it is?” This question is quickly followed-up by “How were you able to live the lifestyle so quickly?” I answer by saying, “I had two choices continue doing the same things in life and expecting different results. Or completely change and convert with an open hart and accept what would come through my choice to live a committed and dedicated life to Christ, My Family and Church. The choice has been clear and easy.” I tell people it is much easier living the simple and committed Mormon lifestyle. You are grounded, focused, strengthened and prioritized on the most important things in this world. You live by principles and values that build societies instead of break them down. You provide service and bless the lives of others you are focused on something larger then yourself. For me this is what I wanted. Show more Show less
