Hi I'm Bob Huckvale

I was born in Utah, but moved when I was young, and have now lived in many parts of the U.S. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy running, hiking, backpacking, playing soccer and spending time with my family. I work in finance and accounting for a medical group in Washington State. My wife and I have five children.

Why I am a Mormon

I have found in the Mormon Church the answers to so many questions left unanswered in the bible, like the nature of God, the purposes of the priesthood, the importance of priesthood authority, the specific responsibilities of the offices Christ established in His original church, the pupose of temples, and God's way of providing the means for all His children to be saved--even those who died without hearing the gospel. I have found answers to questions about where I came from, the purpose of my life on earth, and what things await me in the eternities. In addition, I have found that I can ask God if the things I've learned are true. I testify that He has answered my prayers and that the Holy Ghost has borne witness to me that these things are indeed true.

How I live my faith

I serve in my congregation assisting with missionary work where I often get to teach a class called Gospel Principles to new members and those investigating. I am also on the committee that organizes socials and parties for the members. Plus, I look for opportunities to serve in other ways, like helping people move, cleaning the church, assisting with our boy scout unit, and so on.
