Hi I'm Paul Martinez

I live in Orange County, CA, love paintball, and recently converted to the Church.

About Me

I currently work for an architectural firm in Irvine, CA.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I choose to side with truth and adhere to those principles which have their source in God. I'm a Mormon because I want to be part of the church that Christ Himself established. I'm a Mormon because I know who I am, what I am to do, and what brings deep and fulfilling joy.

How I live my faith

I try to help others learn about my faith and answer their questions as best as I can. I am currently the Sunday School president of my congregation, which means I take care of a lot of the administrative affairs of our Sunday School and strive to improve the teaching and learning experience of the same. In all honesty, though, I still feel that I have a lot to learn from our teachers, and that I am far removed from a mastery of teaching. With that being said, I still love teaching and I work tirelessly to help create meaningful learning experiences for everyone.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Paul Martinez
A testimony is a firm conviction one has as to the reailty of a certain truth. People unfortunately treat truth as if it were something completely subjective or contingent upon man's volition. There are those things which exist outside of man's faculties, such as the existence of God, and to have a conviction of such things is to have a testimony of the same. Show more Show less
