Hi I'm Beth

I was raised in Georgia. I am a therapist and the owner of a mental health center. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in my 40's, married and have two grown step-children. I love reading "clean" romance novels.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents converted before I was born. However, they became inactive when I was younger. Friends at church motivated me to be at church. My youth leaders helped solidify my testimony. By the time I was in high school I had a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know the gospel taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true because when I live the principles life is better and the direction I am headed in feels "right."

How I live my faith

Every day I either read in the scriptures or read a conference talk from the Ensign magazine (the church's official magazine). I am trying to improve how much I pray. My biggest spiritual goal right now is to live so I can feel and hear the Holy Ghost helping me in my daily life.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Mormons do not worship Joseph Smith. Mormons worship God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. We recognize we can know what is true by living a clean life so the Holy Ghost can testify to us of what is true. Joseph Smith was one of God's prophets on the Earth to bring about his truths that had been lost. Joseph is an honored prophet just like Moses or Noah. Show more Show less
