Hi I'm Marc and I love gadgets.

I love creating things. I live in Washington and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 4 children. I love to camp, fish, and hike. I enjoy creating things out of wood in my shop. I really enjoy computers and gadgets. I like solving problems and I like a good challenge. I enjoy working on cars, and hope to find a 1967-1969 Camaro to restore.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon is so much more than a phrase. I consider myself a follower of Christ. I am far from perfect, but having the life of Jesus Christ as a pattern, I have direction. Little by little I work on parts of my life that require improvement. It's great to know that I have a Father in Heaven who listens and cares about my needs. I can turn to him whenever I need a listening ear. I know that he lives. I know that he provided us a Savior who knows me personally. I also know that God speaks to us today. There truly is revelation given to Prophets and to man.

How I live my faith

I have been working with the Boy Scouts for several years. I really enjoy watching boys grow into men as they learn to do hard things. It's a challenging world we live in, and it is easy for todays youth to get caught up in a digital world of mobile phones, facebook, mp3 players, video games and TV. Getting out in nature allows us to put this world aside and find ourselves closer to God. I enjoy spending the same quality time with my wife and children, away from life's distractions.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Marc and I love gadgets.
This is a great question. When I was a missionary from 1995-1997, it was paid for mostly out of my pocket. I started a computer service my senior year of high school, I also delivered newspapers, worked for the Grocery store and was a Captain of a Police Cadet Corp. I saved as much money as I could to be able to pay for my expenses as a missionary. My parents helped out where I fell short. For young men who can't afford to pay their own way, their service is funded by donations, usually from people living in their own area. Show more Show less
