Hi I'm Michelle

I grew up in the enchanted island of Puerto Rico. I am a military wife. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I have one of the toughest jobs in the world at this time; a military wife. I am married to a great man and together we have two crazy and wonderful kids. The army has taken us to many places; Virginia, Louisiana, Korea, Germany and Texas. At the present time we live in Missouri. Besides being a wife, a mother, a daughter, and all that good stuff, I am also a student currently working on a BA in Human Services. I enjoy cooking and traveling. I love working with children and youth, and find great satisfaction in helping and serving others. I enjoy simple things in life... the birds singing, the scent of flowers, or just a walk in the park. My favorite place to be is on top of a mountain on a sunny and breeze spring day! The best part of my day is the time I spend with my family. I love my family; but must of all I love my Heavenly Father. He is my savior and redeemer and I owe everything I am to him. I hope you have fun reading the profiles here at mormon.org. If you have any questions, ask away...

Why I am a Mormon

Heavenly Father is always there for us. Our family is strong. Our marriage, our children are strong because of our beliefs and faith. We are in this together; forever. I am thankful for the teachings of our leaders and for the counsel of our living prophets. Also for the restoration of the priesthood through the prophet Jose Smith. It gives me comfort to know that I have a personal Liahona -the scriptures- to guide me and show me the path I must take all the time. There, I find the answers to my prayers and receive personal revelation. I am thankful to Heavenly Father, for He sent his only begotten son that we can live with him some day and enjoy eternal life.

How I live my faith

Actively participating in church activities is a must for my family and I. The military is not an easy way of life. Because we have the gospel everything seems to fall in its place every time we move. In the present, I serve as seminary teacher in our church and I'm also a visiting teacher.
