Hi I'm Lindsay

I'm an Irish girl living in America. I love to fly planes, drive cars, make quilts and read science. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a native of Ireland, but I moved to the USA a few years ago after meeting and marrying my husband. I'm going to university right now to study for a teaching degree in Chemistry. I LOVE science! I have a million and one other hobbies including photography, crafts; scrapbooking, knitting, cross-stitching, quilting, pyrography... I've been a Mormon all my life, but truly converted and came to appreciate my religion in my teens.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know Jesus Christ lives today, and He is my Savior and Redeemer. As a teen, I questioned my purpose in life, and wanted to know the truth about Jesus Christ and His relationship to me. I meditated and prayed, and in the end, I had such an overwhelming spiritual experience that I can never deny it. There is something indescribable about an experience such as that. There are just no words. It's something that each person must have individually. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that He suffered and died so that we don't have to suffer and be permanently separated from God. It truly is a miracle.

How I live my faith

I live by my faith everyday. Not a day goes by that I don't think about the fact that I'm a Mormon and how it has impacted my life. I try to live each day with a positive outlook, and treating everyone with love and respect. Everyone is a child of God. I go to church every week and enjoy the lessons of the gospel and the spiritual growth I feel.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Lindsay
Mormon's believe that family can be united and live together eternally, even after death. Families give us a sense of purpose and are a unit of comfort and encouragement when we are going through hard times. We can retain these important and valuable relationships beyond this life, and are able to live with and continue these family bonds after we die. Show more Show less
